Welcome to Anola SharpWorks

Our Sharpening business began when customers of our retail store,  Anola Feed and Farm Supply Ltd.  began asking if we knew anybody that could sharpen chain saw chains. Soon after we purchased one machine and the adventure began.  The one machine turned in to two, then three and now four. Before long, our customers began asking if we could sharpen anything else. We then added specialized knife sharpening equipment (soon to be two), along with other specialized pieces of equipment. Early on we decided if we were going to offer a service, we would only do so when we had the proper equipment , the knowledge and training to do so. We will not compromise the quality of our work by doing things half way. Soon after we met a gentlemen that has been sharpening for the past 40 years and was looking to retire and wanted to sell off his equipment. A friendship began and he has been kind enough to pass on his years of experience and knowledge to us and continues to do so to this day. For that we are grateful as his experience, advice and mentorship has helped  shape Anola SharpWorks  to what it has become. We then added equipment to sharpen household and fabric scissors, circular saw blades, planer blades, lawnmower blades,  chisels,  wood turning tools, tree pruners,  axes, ice augers etc. Our next step was to look into other areas. This led us  to explore pet grooming, and with the help of our mentor, we learned  this specialized area, and we now offer full sharpening service to Pet Groomers , and can sharpen all type of clipper blades, shears, nail clippers, etc. This brings us closer to our goal of being a full service sharpening company. Our customers are able drop off items to our retail store located at 35123 Hwy 15, Anola, MB.  or mail them to us (see our contact page). We also offer a pickup and delivery service  in Winnipeg and surrounding areas (contact us for details). We are also currently working towards equipping our enclosed trailer to become a mobile sharpening service.
